Lancaster Mennonite School's Online Safety and Digital Citizenship Curriculum K-12
Lancaster Mennonite School educates all students about appropriate online behavior, including interacting with other individuals on social networking websites and in chat rooms and cyberbullying awareness and response.
Teachers are encouraged to emphasize Online Safety, Digital Citizenship and Information Literacy regularly throughout the year in conversation and during Internet activities in the classroom. Requirements for each grade span the indicated topics listed below. Detailed lessons with excellent resources on the required topics are listed by grade level on the right sidebar. Teachers have the flexibility to teach the required lessons in any order, to expand lessons and to revisit topics.
The topics are based on the strands and units developed by Common Sense Media.
